The idea for this Non-Profit came about during my treatment for Testicular Seminoma/Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I was lucky to have good health insurance, but all the co-pays started to add up. Luckily, I received help from co-workers, friends, family, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Co-Pay assistance program. Some cancer patients are not as fortunate. I heard about patients losing their jobs and insurance, losing their house, unable to afford medications, etc. I was horrified to see that in a country as great as ours, if you are unfortunate enough to get diagnosed with cancer, there is too much to worry about besides fighting for your life. It is sad to see individuals beat the odds and survive, only to be homeless, jobless, and bankrupt. Our goal is to seek out the patients that need help and be their Angels of Hope in their fight. I hope that you can lend your support to this great cause.Thank You!!
